Internal Medicine

The purpose of this specialty residency is to develop knowledge and professional practice skills essential to serve as a pharmacotherapy specialist in the area of adult internal medicine. Practical experiences may include and not be limited to acute, long-term and critical care internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonary medicine, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, hematology/oncology, and clinical pharmacokinetics consultation. The pharmacist will develop into a successful clinical pharmacist specialist in internal medicine and may be eligible to become a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS).
